Congrats to all those who went down to Charlotte this past Saturday. In the full marathon Scott Douglas had a PR finishing the race in 2:48:33 and was fourth overall, while Cindy Barbour crossed the tape as the fourth female with a time of 3:15:59 (PR also). Benji Jones was first in his age group with a time of 3:01:57 and Mark Wear came across the finish in 3:19:56.
In the relay we had a relay team to place in the top three in each category.
The all women's team of Jordan McAmmond, Allison Peters, and Jen Goff finished first overall with a time of 3:13:57. Off 'n Running team number 5 (Laura Eynon, Claire Basista, and Marianne McDonnald) finished eighth among the all women's team with a 4:35:52.
Marty Ballew, Mike Basista, and Christie Strupe finished second among the mixed teams with a 3:29:22, while John Dewey, Curtis Swisher, and Dwight Jacobs placed second in the all men division in a 2:37:23.
Off 'n Running team 3 (Jim Camp, John Davidson, Derrick Heard) finished with a 3:18:09. Rodney Kopp, Brett Murphy, and Dennis Duquette came across the finish line in 3:32:30, while Arthur Sterkenburg, Jim Messina, and Abrin (team member for the day) finished in 3:34:12. Bobby Refenattie, Carlos Gutierrez, and Peder Harris crossed the tape in 3:48:05.
